The CREDAI-Baramati is the Only Association of Builders in Baramati, formed by the Builders for the benefit and welfare of the Builders in Baramati.
The Association is working for Promoting the Builder’s Activity in the region and is striving to solve the problems & remove hurdles in the path of working of the Builders. The Association represents the Builders in the region at National Level through its affiliation to State Level Body CREDAI –Maharashtra & National level Body ‘CREDAI’, the Confederation of Real Estate Developers in India.
The Association keeps Co-ordination with the various Departments concerned with the Builders Activity such as Town Planning, TP & Valuation, NMC, NIT, Revenue, Nazul, City Survey, MSEDCL, MADC etc. and keeps track of the latest information about the new policies connected with the Business. The Association foresees the difficulties that may arise in future and always tries to find the solution to the problems. Mentioning some of the activities of the Association in the Past, it can be proudly said that- The Association was Associated with the finalization of ‘DCR 2000’ for the Nagpur city and was instrumental in incorporation of many desired changes such as permission to Enclose Balconies, 30% Premium Area etc. in it.
It also strived hard to restore the 1.25, 2.0 & 2.5 FSI, which was proposed to be reduced to 1.0 in the Draft DCR. The Association was instrumental in solving the problem related to ‘FSI’ & User of “Industrial Plots” which were subjected to be developed as Residential & Commercial Complexes.
The ‘Association’ has laid down a ‘Code of Conduct’ for its members, which helps in achieving Fair Business Practice, smoother customers relationship and Protection from Undue Harassment from the Customer. Following of the Code of Conduct is also helpful in Creating Goodwill & Business Promotion.
The working of the association is done as per the ‘Memorandum of the Association’. The General Body Elects the Office Bearers and the Executive body by way of Ballot at every Two years interval.The immediate Past President automatically becomes the member of executive body by virtue of post. The Executive Body such formed meets at least once in a month to discuss the issue concerned with the bussiness.
The ‘General Body’ Of the association consists all the members of the association generally the ‘General Body Meeting’ is convened every six months. There is Annual General Body Meeting in the month of April every year.The working of the association is very transparent. All the financial transaction are done through bank only no cash payments are accepted. Also the continuous increase in the membership of the association indicates its utility.
Hence it is in the interest of every builder to get associated with the Association by becoming its member.
